My name is David Muhumure. I am blessed with a beautiful wife, Solange Uwamahoro, and our three wonderful children: two daughters, Happiness and Emma, and our son, Danny. I was born in the Democratic Republic of Congo, but due to the ongoing civil war, my family and I were forced to flee to a refugee camp in Burundi, where we lived for over 14 years. In 2019, we were fortunate to be resettled in the United States, a country of safety and opportunity. Having faced numerous challenges as refugees and immigrants, including the struggles with depression, trauma, and anxiety, my sister and I were inspired to establish a non-profit foundation. Our mission is to help mitigate these mental health issues within the refugee and immigrant communities. I am deeply grateful to be in a nation where people are committed to helping others by giving their time and resources.

Genereuse Ndora is the Director of the New and Expectant Parents Program and the Co-founder of Tabitha International Foundation. Originally from Africa, she now resides in Louisville, Kentucky. Holding a Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Genereuse is passionately dedicated to empowering families and enhancing the lives of mothers and children. Amber Weiand is proud to be partnering with her friend David Muhumure to continue the worthy and important work of Tabitha International.
