New & Expectant Parent Program
How Does the Program Work?
The program begins during the prenatal period, where we screen families after receiving a referral. Referrals can be made by a variety of sources, including doctors’ offices, health departments, churches, community organizations, friends, or family members.
Home Visitation Services:
Tabitha Foundation deploys a team of trained and compassionate home visitors who work closely with families in the comfort of their homes. These visits are designed to provide practical support, parenting education, and guidance on creating a nurturing environment for the child.
Key Areas Of Our Focus
Parenting Skills Development: We help parents develop essential skills to recognize and respond to their baby’s needs effectively.
Child Development Education: Our visitors educate parents on what to expect as their baby grows, including milestones and developmental stages.
Home Safety: We assist families in making their homes safe and child-friendly, minimizing risks and ensuring a secure environment.
Emotional and Social Support: Our visitors offer emotional support to parents, helping them navigate the challenges of early parenthood.
Tailored Support
The frequency and duration of home visits are tailored to meet the specific needs of each family. Whether parents need more frequent visits or occasional check-ins, our goal is to provide the right level of support to help them thrive.
Join Us in Making a Difference
